TL magazine editorial coordinator, Adrian Madlener is a designer turned journalist. Born in Belgium but brought-up in New York, he studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and is currently an MA candidate at Parsons the New School for Design and Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Museum’s joint History of Design and Curation programme. Within this context, he also works as a curatorial fellow in the museum’s Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department. Having also attended the School of Visual Art’s Design Crit 2012 summer intensive, Madlener later worked at Frame magazine and contributed to Li Edelkoort’s Trend Tablet. He also took part in the founding of Copenhagen-based design gallery Etage Projects.
