Unveiled a year ago in Milan and Paris, Nude is a glass brand, innovative and creative from the city of Istanbul. The brand – born in recent years – highlights its contemporary style in its collections. In these collections there is the possibility to discover a totally harmonious life with the philosophy to offer functional solutions with simple lines. This glass brand boasts a unique design with pieces created by talented designers from around the world including as Ron Arad with 3 collections for the brand : DecanteRing, Red or White and  Wine Party – All blown by glassmakers mouths. The fact is that our time offers a life only with : too many choices, too many things, too much noises. Nude demands and believes in a return to the simplicity as a solution. Indeed simplicity is what makes the whole thing beautiful and pure. And it is with this in mind that this makes the timeless object. This idea reinforces the specificity of Nude– providing objects suitable for all interior and therefore offering key to give more emotions to life. With 2015 Nude highlights its Loft collection – which is enriched with new models to any interior. It includes black glass, smoked, blue, opal and many new features.

Collaboration Nude and Glass Is Tomorrow

Nude is now very active in the field of international design as this brand has participated in a workshop in Denizli Handmade glass factory in Turkey under the guise of Glass Is Tomorrow. The workshop ‘Glass Unlimited – Made in Istanbul’ was organized by GIT’s Swedish partner – The Glass Factory in Boda, Sweden and The Glass Furnace, Glass Is Tomorrow meets Nude, a brand of Şişecam Group, Turkey. Denizli is so the place of production with the Sisecam Group – the 3rd glass group in the world. And thanks to Glass Is Tomorrow Nude will be present during the Biennale of International Design in Saint-Etienne, France. To understand more this collaboration, here are few words about Glass Is Tomorrow. Born from a concept created in 2011 by the Belgian association Pro Materia it is an European network which aims to establish a platform for exchange of expertise & knowledge between the glass and designers throughout Europe. The purpose of this approach is to increase the quality of glass production in Europe. But especially to form an awareness that there really is a European culture of glass, traditions and innovations. This collaboration during the workshop in Denizli – between Glass Is Tomorrow and Nude – allowed to experiment and to confront the creativity of designers from all backgrounds. This workshop in Denizli was organized by Glass Is Tomorrow and now organizes an exhibition tour in Europe. For the example the creations made during this workshop will be present at the Biennale in Saint-Etienne in March. But before the Biennale, Nude will be at the Ambiente Fair 2015 in Frankfurt today to present the Glass Is Tomorrow meets Nude collection.
