Founded in 2013 by graphic designer Ondřej Zita and furniture maker Luděk Šteigl, Master & Master produces minimalist furniture by Czech designers. The upstart manufacturer was a standout at DMY Berlin, which took place from 2–5 June at Kraftwerk Berlin, and were duly recognized with the award for Best Exhibitor.

Based in Zábřeh, where they work with employ local factories, Master & Master launched with its popular trestle legs, designed by Michal Malášek, which epitomize the simple elegance of the entire collection. The pared-down aesthetic also lends itself to shipping and transport, which is a consideration for a company that sells most of its product online. Based on the strong showing in Berlin, Master & Master are ones to watch.
