Angela Rui is a curator and researcher based in Milan, working in design theory and criticism. Among other projects, she co-curated “I See That I See What You Don’t See” – the Dutch Pavilion at the XXII Triennale di Milano (2019), and “Faraway, So Close” – the 25th Design Biennial of Ljubljana (2017). She writes on design as a form of investigating knowledge production, and she’s preparing an exhibition on aquariums, seen as theorical devices that enquire the notion of nature-culture (MAAT, Lisbon). She taught at the School of Design (Politecnico di Milano), at the NABA (Milan), and she currently run the course “Pedagogies of the Sea” at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
