All the works come from twenty of the most prestigious museums in the world such as MoMA, Tate or Centre Pompidou. They cover the entire artistic career of the painter, from 1908 to the late 1980. Chagall and his work, not be related to any school, have characteristics of surrealism and neo-primitivism with various techniques including paintings, gouaches, drawings, collages and opea costumes. Inspired by the Jewish tradition, the traditional Jewish village and Russian folklore, it develops its own symbolic, around the inner life of the artist.
