Amélie Courau holds a Masters Degree in Conference Interpreting (Institut Supérieur de Traducteurs et Interprètes – ISTI, Brussels) and another one in Latin-American Studies (Paris III-Sorbonne Nouvelle/Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico). She is based in Mexico city and currently works as a Knowledge Manager for the United Nations Development Programme (UN Brazil), as a freelance translator for TLmag, National Geographic, Le Monde, UNDP Brazil and the World Bank and as a Conference Interpreter for the French Embassy Translation Centre (Centre Professionnel de Traduction et d’Interprétation – CPTI).
