Carolina Tinoco is a multi-skilled and talented Venezuelan designer and architect. Known for her work in social architecture, her works evolve around “Reinvention” as a primary proposal. A Citizen of the world, Carolina currently lives in Paris where she is involved in various various projects for innovation , fab lab WOMA. Her recent up-cycled furniture project named “RED”, will be presented at the exhibition”New territories” MAD Museum of New York in 2014. Her work is marked by social sensibility, co creation, playful and non conventional use of concepts and materials often considered as being poor or at the end of their life. These elements are then blended in a surprising and transverse way to be integrated into urban and interior spaces, furniture, exhibitions, events or installations.
