Ellis Woodman

Journalist

Ellis Woodman is a celebrated authority in architecture, writing essays and critical reviews about leading European architects – such as David Chipperfield or Office Kersten Geers David van Severen – for platforms including The Daily Telegraph, Architectural Review and Architect’s Journal. After studying at the universities of Cambridge and North London, he spent seven years in the practice before becoming an editor at Building Design magazine. The architect turn critic has lectured internationally at major schools and is frequently present on British radio and television.
