Noma, the restaurant headed by chef-owner René Redzepi in Copenhagen, was this week voted the world’s number one restaurant. Due to its waterfront, Noma’s famous menu is mainly composed by Nordic ingredients.

The two Michelin-stars restaurant opened in 2004 and ten years later 20 000 people per month are asking for reservations. For this 45-seats establishement, it’s quite disproportionate but isn’t the price of success ? Now after being No. 1 for three years on Restaurant Magazine’s annual ranking – and beaten once in 2013 by  the Spanish avant-garde eatery El Celler – the restaurant Noma reclaimed the top spot again.
