During Brussels Art Days – 11 to 13 September – Albert Baronian will feature two exhibitions: Jean Bedez with his first solo show “Aurore aux doigts de rose” and Wang Du with “Réalité Altérée”. The gallery is dedicated to contemporary art as well as important artistic movements and artists that have defined the last forty years. In the Paris-based artist Bedez‘s works there are always some politics and religious references. By producing a collection of works that is fully in tune with modern age, he develops a contrast with the ancient techniques and knowledge of the art of drawing, represented for instance by the humanistic themes and skillful paintings of the Renaissance. He will present at the same time new drawings whose second installment in a series dedicated to the constellations of the zodiac – name of the exhibition – whose composition is based on the constellation of the eagle. In the Chinese plastician Du‘s works it is easy to find a clear criticism of the hegemony of mass media, as the main force both for social and economic manipulation and political mobilization.

Save the date: the two exhibitions will run during Brussels Art Days – 11 to 13 September.
