For the Brussels Bar’s bicentenary, Charles Kaisin created a spectacular and poetic installation in the Courthouse’s lobby. A total of 10 000 origamis, folded with the help of Sint-Gillis Prison’s inmates, are forming a gigantic wave taking up the center of the space. The paper used to fold the origamis comes from old codes provided by the Bar. The installation is like a “Pneuma”, from the greek origin it means Breath.
