Africa Design Days
Tomorrow, The city of Casablanca, Morocco, will welcome the second Africa Design Days of the year from 22 May to 19 July. The first ADD 2015 was in Rabat, Morocco. ADD is an unique event which showcases over 40 international designers from more than 10 African countries including designers and creators artisans in Morocco. It aims to position Africa in the heart of the global design scene.
TLmag selected 2-3 artists who will be present :
1. Designer Karim Alaoui from Casablanca, Morocco, will present his wall sculpture. Through his studies in industrial foundry he has acquired its strong foundation in technology and specialization in art foundry. He always confronts his knowledge in his workshop in Casablanca with making creations from bronze and aluminum foundry.

2. Designer Grant Gibbs from South Africa. He will be present Hippo Roller to offer a reduction of suffering, promise better health and a healthy lifestyle enabling increased educational and economic opportunities for population living in Africa. This social entrepreneur remains a man who attaches great importance to the family, which remains the source of inspiration for his work.

3. Designer and Creative Developer Jeff Maina from Nairobi, Kenya. It will present its antenna. This designer has specialized as that of new technologies gives him more freedom in creating seen as software and design tools currently abound.

Africa Design Days will take place in Casablanca at Villa des Arts from 22 May to 19 June, 2015.
