Taking luxury and design worlds by storm, Aésop has made a loud splash over the past few years with a highly contemporary product line but perhaps more noteworthy, a series of bespoke boutiques across the globe – designed by big name architects cum designers. Non the less impressive, The Australian brand’s Melbourne-based Emporium brings it home with local materials and a calm spirit. Conceived by Kerstin Thompson Architects and Beirut-based lighting design firm cum manufacturer .PSLAB, Aésop Emporium is built entirely from sustainably-sourced gum timber – exuding a warm hue, matched only by immersive lighting fixtures. Aésop is no stranger to .PSLAB; the two young but globally-recognized powerhouses have worked on a whopping 12 projects together.

Back in October, .PSLAB was in Antwerp to host a dinner at the Jane and subsequent brunch at Graanmarkt 13 – revealing their interventions in both venues.
