Driven by the desire of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup municipal government to maintain an ambitious cultural policy and to showcase contemporary art at the same time, an exhibition project in landscapes has been established. The first edition of Aux bords des paysages (the shores of landscapes) to showcase monumental works in nature; establishing a dialogue between landscape and contemporary art. Five sites were chosen for these installations, often produced for the occasion, by six contemporary artists: Gaspard and Sandra Bebie-Valerian (Art-Act), Mehdi Melhaoui, Fabien Mérelle, Thomas Monin and Matthieu Pilaud. Sheading new light on its natural and historical heritage by working artists, the city maintains an ambitious and innovative cultural policy, coordinated by Le Passe Muraille and curated by Manuel Fadat.

The exhibition runs from 1 November 2015 within five locations throughout Grand Pic Saint-Loup in Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
