Few days ago, Corps subtils (Subtle Bodies) exhibition by Felipe Ribon took its place in at Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design (MADD) of Bordeaux, France. The refusal of conceptual constraints, challenging preconceived ideas and vis-à-vis distrust anything that seems obvious, are key elements in the approach of the young Franco-Colombian artist Felipe Ribon fed from a multiculturalism that leads him to adopt with ease surprising and unusual perspectives. He questions the possibility of investing in new fields and to dispense with the rule. The museum had the idea to invite the artist to connect his creations to the museum objects which, for some, testify to the past and history, real or imagined, of famous people. It is  thus prolong the Designer project that questions the relationship we have with the dead. The mansion that houses the museum today is, in fact, traces of past lives and adventures.

Corps subtils exhibition by will run from 5 August to 2 November at Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design de Bordeaux, France.
