Emulating a condensed yet sublime moment in time – the confluence of sky, sun and clouds – Dawn Lights play hue spectrums against semi-translucent cast resin geometries. On view as part of next month’s Design Miami/, Rotterdam-based New Zealand-native Sabine Marcelis presents a continuation of her Voie Light Series #1: light path manipulations achieved with neon tubes that debuted at this April’s Ventura Lambrate. Mounted by Brussels-based gallery Victor Hunt, these new larger installations submerge equally congruous neon strips in different thicknesses of solid plane, cylindric and spherical forms as fully functional lighting solutions.

Design Miami/: Meridian Ave. & 19th St., 2-6 December
