hugjapan is a non-profit organization aiming at supporting the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake through activities related to art and design.  From 10 till 16 March the exhibition ‘Global Message Relay’ will be on display at Espace Evolution in Paris. The objective of this exhibition is to accurately convey the reality of the affected areas and to pass on words of support from around the world to the victims of the disaster of 11 March 2011. By spreading the circle of support, hugjapan hopes to connect victims with the world and ultimately promote the swift reconstruction of disaster areas. 400 messages and drawings by children with the themes ‘Words to convey and a future to picture’ and ‘My dream’ will be displayed. Visitors will have the opportunity to write messages to disaster areas which will be delivered to the children after the exhibition.
