French luxury brand Hermès is pleased to present its latest Voyage en Ikat porcelain collection. The term Ikat originates from Indonesian and means “to tie”. It refers to fabrics found on long journeys from Asia to the West along the Silk Road, rendered them universal. With this in mind, Hermès has created a porcelain dinner service at the crossroads of East and West. This collection is offered in different colours – emerald, sapphire and ruby – but also precious stones refined in of gold accents, applied by hand. To conclude Voyage en Ikat is an invitation to boundless fantasy and exploration.
