InnAuction: Focus on Design

Austrian auction house InnAuction will present Italian, Nordic and Brazilian design in its first design auction on 24 February 2016.

Auction house InnAuction launches its first auction dedicated to 20th century European, Scandinavian and Brazilian design. The auction will consist of nearly 200 works by renowned Italian and international architects and designers.

Highlights of the auction include Yantra Vase by Ettore Sottsass, Cicognino Table by Franco Albini and furniture, cases and lighting fixtures by Gio Ponti, Osvaldo Borsani and Bruno Mathsson. In addition, the auction also features a selection of Nordic furniture and lamps from designers and architects such as Arne Jacobsen and Alvar Aalto, and works by Brazilian designer Jorge Zalszupin.

InnAuction was launched two years ago in Innsbruck, Austria. Recent auctions of the auction house have been dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Following the design auction, InnAuction will present auctions on antique prints, old masters and 19th century paintings, and modern and contemporary art photography auction later in the spring.  •
