LEAD THE CHANGE @ Heimtextil 2026
Heimtextil, the foremost global trade fair for home and contract textiles will be taking place from 13 to 16 January 2026 in Frankfurt-am-Main.
Heimtextil is the world’s leading platform for home and contract textiles and textile design — a key driver for holistic interior concepts, sustainability and future-focused trends. From 13 to 16 January 2026 in Frankfurt, more than 3,100 exhibitors from 65 countries present a global overview of collections, materials and innovations.
Under the motto ‘Lead the Change’, Heimtextil responds to current market challenges with a strengthened concept, trend insights and AI-driven tools. A redesigned hall layout brings product groups together more efficiently and supports the full spectrum of textile and non-textile interior design.
A major highlight in 2026 is the expanded Carpets & Rugs segment, now spread across four hall levels (11.0, 11.1, 12.0 and 3.0). Together with the new Flooring & Equipment section, it forms the central hub for the global carpet and flooring industry. Buyers benefit from an exceptional variety of handmade and machine-made carpets, innovative flooring solutions, new synergies and a dedicated content programme designed for designers, retailers and high-volume buyers alike. Don’t forget to visit the “Belgian Textiles – powered by Fedustria” zone in the middle of hall 12.0.
Heimtextil Trends 26/27, curated with Alcova Milano, find a new home in Hall 6.1. Under the motto ‘Craft is a verb’, they explore the synergy between traditional craftsmanship and AI-powered design – from natural influences to AI-generated colors.
World-renowned architect Patricia Urquiola presents her immersive installation ‘among-all’ in Hall 3.0, showcasing sensory textile design that combines aesthetics, comfort, functionality and sustainability while illustrating the potential of AI-supported creation.
Heimtextil further strengthens core interior segments: Hall 3.0 becomes a hub for wallpaper, curtains, carpets, privacy systems and sun protection. The new Sleep & Meet area (Hall 4.0) unites leading mattress brands and connects them with bedding retailers and hospitality buyers. For contract professionals, the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LIBRARY in Hall 3.1 presents functional textiles and expert talks.
With the world’s largest range of decorative and upholstery fabrics across Halls 3.1 and 4.1, Heimtextil 2026 remains the most diverse and influential textile event worldwide.
