Palais de Tokyo works closely with Fondation Bettencourt Schueller to open the ‘L’Usage des formes’ exhibition – exploring human ingenuity and the passionate relationship that designers have with their tools, while also addressing the instrument as a fundamental element in man’s understanding of the world. Creating a dialogue between craftsmen and artists, the exhibition brings together craft, design, art and architecture in a settings created by designer Robert Stadler and carried out in collaboration with expert craftspeople. As the exhibition opens, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the workshop; interact with the design tool as an incarnations of this story.
