With its two previous editions, Maison & Objet Asia has become profiled as a trade fair that responds to Asia’s rapidly growing property development, real estate, and hospitality industries. Reflecting the rising trend in Asia, 50 per cent of the 11.600 visitors in the 2015 tradeshow were from the interior design and  architecture sectors. This clearly distinguishes Maison & Objet Asia from its counterpart in Paris, which usually attracts a larger percentage of retailers.

Due to the specific visitor profile, the third edition of the fair will lean even more than before into providing interior design and architectural solutions for property developers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, interior designers and architects.

The next Maison & Objet Asia will take place in Singapore, which has become a significant business hub in the Asia Pacific. The event will present networking opportunities with leading designers and key industry players from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand among others. Over 300 brands specializing in bespoke interior design will attend the fair.

As each year, Maison & Objet will also host over 20 conferences as well as competitions such as ‘Rising Asian Talents’ and ‘Designer of the Year,’ an accolade granted to Neri & Hu Design and Research Office in 2015. •
