After a successful launch on 5th avenue this November, Paris-, London- and now New York-based Carpenters Workshop Gallery heads to Design Miami/ with a rich selection of sculptural-cum-whimsical offerings all with intrinsic material make-ups – bronze and cashmere – luxurious black and gold colour combinations. Works by Sebastian Brajkovic, Nacho CarbonellStudio Drift, Johanna Grawunder, Studio Job and Atelier van Lieshout will steal the show.

An almost campy Cat Fight sculptural table lamp by Studio Job – in patinated bronze, hand blown glass and LED fittings – will resemble something of chinoiserie while Sebastian Brajkovic’s Vanishing Point III sofa and Lathe Lamp could play on our optical perception. By pushing the limits of craft, passersby will be left mesmerised. Encased in perspex, Studio Drift’s now iconic Fragile Future is planning to come back in full force. Nearby, Johanna Grawunder’s concave Halfpipe offsets light onto an almost Serra-like steel composition.
