Set along Warsaw’s historical Ulica Próżna, Galeria Velt is a one-of-a-kind lighting design studio and boutique, coupled with an adjacent café. He brings together the skill and creativity of mother son duo Maria and Jeremi Nagrabecki. Championing the experimental possibilities of glass in Krosno, both believe in the importance of bespoke attributes – differences in thickness, colour diffusion and submerged bubbles. Vases, cups and bowls are joined by lamp designs like Led a – 2012 Red Dot Design award honourable mention – combining the latest LED technology with swan-like and hand-shaped monoliths. The brand also introduces more playful, clever and elegant creations, such as Yu and Laga lamps.
