Breathing Heart is an installation by German multimedia artist Johanna Keimeyer that asks visitors to look inside themselves, literally. An inflated structure is matched by the sensorial qualities of light, sound, scent, and rhythm for full scenographic effect. First mounted during Art Basel, the project – captured in film – travels to New York this month.

Leading trend forecaster and frequent talent maker, Lidewij Edelkoort returns to London Design Festival this month with a special showcase of 15 avant-garde projects by emerging designers, just out of school. Mounted at Carpenters Workshop Gallery in London from 4-23 September, the Graduate(s) exhibit takes the pulse of the European design zeitgeist.

Last weekend, Robert Wilson welcomed over 1,200 guests to the 24th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit, raising funds for the institution’s year-round programming. The event brought the creative and philanthropic worlds together for a night of performances, installations; an auction; dinner and dancing. Aptly, this year’s edition had a strong political focus.
