Imagined by the Canadian architect Omer Arbel for Bocci, the 28 Series is the result of a very subtle blowing glass fabrication process. The lamp is composed of a spherical shape with different ‘‘bubbles’’ incorporated. The main ‘‘bubble’’ hosting the lamp is made of opaque milk glass. The video demonstrates this special fabrication procedure where every ‘‘bubble’’ is made by blowing and sucking out air with a variation of heat and pressure during the glass-blowing process turning every lamp into a unique piece.
