Europôle Textile Magazine is spreading the word and motivation to support the growth of this textile sector in a period of total change. If you skirt is changing colors or providing some lighting effects or if your body feels warm thanks to high tex, this is the future. It’s not only about technology but also about our creative mindset. How to integrate textile design or fashion or high tech fibers at the different levels of our daily living?
You want to know more about Belgian and French textile and fashion schools, not only to be fashionable but to be part of this dynamic community full of opportunities and innovations. Enter into 13 educational environments and read the real life stories of professionals who experienced those schools and training and took advantage out of them. Let’s say you are interested by La Cambre Visual Arts – Textile and Fashion Design Departments, Bischoffsheim, ENSAIT, ESAAT or Saint-Luc in Tournai among others, you will get inspired by the positive feedback of the people who got involved into a full cursus and a challenging creative scene. There are also interviews of innovative entrepreneurs and companies and a report on the training centers as well as the research initiatives taken by TAMAT / Centre de la Tapisserie in Tournai or IFM (Institut français de la Mode) in Paris.
Europôle Textile Magazine is a collaboration of tl.mag with the GTTI project which has been conceived and launched by Fedustria (Belgian Federation of Textile, Wood and Furniture) and UIT Nord (Union des Industries Textiles du Nord) as a creative and competitive platform to support education, innovation and training in the field of innovative textiles. Soon, tl.mag will be talking about the new CETI – Centre Européen des Textiles Innovants (European Center for Innovative Textiles) which will open up its doors in October 2012 in the North of France. It will be an opportunity for you to get your copy of Europôle Textile Magazine and to travel from the International Interieur Biennial in Kortrijk to the CETI in Roubaix where will be featured the 3rd edition of Futurotextiles.
