With growing Brazilian influence in Miami, leading hospitality and gastronomy expert Fasano transforms the iconic Shore Club. Following in line with other highly successful 5-star establishments throughout Brazil, the new Isay Weinfeld-design residence-cum-hotel complex will offer a whole host of amenities oriented to both outdoor and indoor living; while become an oasis of calm in hustle and bustle of South Beach. Redesigning this 3-acre prime location to include a 100-room – including a vaulted penthouse with sweeping views –, 75 private residences, water-side restaurants, garden bars and a large central pool, this project is the hotelier’s biggest yet. As part of Fasano’s full service approach – top quality spa and fitness centres – is an attention to cuisines that stems from a deeply-rooted Italian family heritage. The Fasano brand began four generations ago with one Sao Paolo-based brassiere and grew into a 12-venue empire. Guests at the Shore Club are treated to this same tradition and culture in gastronomy. Striking a strong balance between light attributes of modernism with contemporary application and design, award-winning architect Weinfeld’s scheme captures a refined composition of rich Brazilian textures and flavours. Simplicity is anchored by a sophisticated twist of beach living, echoed in streamlined structures and interior schemes. His new concept maintains the original North building but adds an additional 21-story David-Chipperfield-designed central tower. With so much programming at play, the tropical setting will work to further an integrated ethos, with hidden gems at every corner.
