In Bed with Designers Singapore 2015

Held this month in Singapore, In Bed with Designers – curated by BuyMeDesign – brought together the Asain design market for a unique gather. BuyMeDesign is an online boutique with a bespoke mindset that supports the development of emerging designers, brands and shops through a unique mix of online and offline exposure directed to both B2C consumers and B2B retail audiences. This organization serves both designer and design lovers in one complete experience. It is an excellent initiative for buyers as one of the first platforms to bring bring designs from the international market to Asia.

During the 3-dat event, 31 designers were reunited. The Spot Design Award was give to the most unique designers with outstanding products. The winner is chosen according to design philosophy, innovation, functionality, quality, price range, eco-friendliness, aesthetics and durability. This year, Alphonso‘s Be Dove table lamp had the honour of receiving the coveted accolade. Alphonso is a brand new lighting brand from Taiwan that allows customers to change their lamps’ appearance to match any interior style.
