The Scope wall clock by Erwin Termaat is an exploration in texture, light and shadow.

Designed for newly launched Dutch label LEFF Amsterdam, the clock is made up from 12 dial pieces that sit in different heights. As light passes by, the shadows change while defining a clear navigation to read the time. The dial becomes a beautiful textured piece that almost acts as a piece of art in the room and not only a functional object.

Scope comes in white or chalky grey and measures Ø:45cm and is made with Quartz technology.

Arno Ruijzenaars, the founder of LEFF Amsterdam explains that their goal with the company is “to make outspoken objects that tell the time or light up their surroundings”.
