On view till 23 May 2015, the Violent Flowers exhibition – held ad Arzignano-based Atipografia – Italian sculptor Mattia Bosco presents his latest sculpture. Curated by Elena Dal Molin, the show presents a series of pieces created from recovered tree-trunked felled in the nearby territory.  Violent Flowers takes its rightful place in the path mapped out by a series of exhibitions preceding it, marked by their site-specific nature. Indeed, Atipografia, is an authentic workshop, acting as an inspiration and challenge for the artist. If, for Brancusi “sculpture is water,: for Bosco, the gesture of the artist working on the material assumes a fundamental and essential temporal role.
