As this year’s New York Design Week – between the Collective Design Fair, ICFF, Sight Unseen Offsite and Wanted Design – shapes up to be the best edition yet, many international players are staking their claim. Among them, Polish Design NYC will host Panel+Design Safari on 17 May – a discussions between recognised talents and thinkers, including TLmag Nasza Polska-featured Maria Jeglinska and Glass is Tomorrow Book-profiled Dan Yeffet, as well as Parsons the New School for Design MA in Strategic Design and Management faculty Mark Leal. Speaking topics will gravitate around the role of design beyond products.

The panel will be followed by an active workshop – bringing participants through the streets of Manhattan for a retail and service experience. Focused on current changes in economies characterised by rapidly evolving standards for the production and management of information, services, and experiences, Fahrenheit 212’s Maria Potoroczyn and Parsons MS Strategic Design & Management’s Henryk Stawicki will direct the workshop through a human-centered gaze.
