Salon International des Métiers d’Art: Fine Crafts from Northern France
Salon International des Métiers d’Art showcased works of hundred art professionals and craft makers from Nord-Pas de Calais region.
The 9th edition of Salon International des Métiers d’Art – International Exhibition of Art and Crafts focuses on crafts and heritage of the Louvre-Lens. Organized in early November, the exhibition presented works and skills of hundred crafts makers from the Nord-Pas de Calais Region in Northern France. The participating professionals were chosen by a committee of representatives from National Institute of Arts and Crafts, Institut Supérieur des Métiers, The House of Artists, CMA and Institut des Métiers d’Art et du Patrimoine IMAP, the organizer of the event.
The exhibition, which was held at Louvre-Lens Museum and the new congress halls of the new Bollaert-Delelis Stadium in Lens, was visited by over 20.000 visitors. •
