In “L’Afrique c’est Chic!”, Dutch photographer/sculpture maker Ingrid Baars combines two opposing worlds by playing with the contrast between classic African art and contemporary creation. A contrast between the lifeless object and the vulnerability of life, a tension between distance and attraction.

After Amsterdam, the exhibition can be viewed in Brussels and is also going to London (October 2012) and Paris (November 2012). More info : Fine Art Studio
