This weekend is the last chance to visit the first edition of Unique Design Shanghai. The event, made possible by the joint forces Perfect Crossovers and Modern Media,  provides a unique platform dedicated to collectible design in China during the Shanghai Art Week in the West Bund Art District. This Unique Design Shanghai platform with strong communication and commercial aspects aims to promote design galleries, collectors, patrons, and institutions. 

The event includes 5 feauture sections through which one can navigate to engage with different types of audiences. It includes a selection of top international design galleries, China Next Pavilion, Design Performance, film and Forum section, the VIP Lounge Pavilion and Pop-up specialized design bookstore. Participating galleries are Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Functional Art, Galerie Dumonteil, L’Eclaireur, Galerie IHAM, Magen H Gallery, Gallerie Studiolo, and our sister gallery Spazio Nobile

Spazio Nobile presents a Group show with Garnier & Linker, Kaspar Hamacher, Sebastian Herkner, Jin Kuramoto, Päivi Rintaniemi, Kristina Riska, Kustaa Saksi, Bela Silva, Piet Stockmans, Adi Toch and Laura Laine’s work Subtle Bodies in the center. Her work, as visual artist and illustrator, explores how memories of emotions, scents and other sense perceptions get trapped in objects. The piece exhibited here is one out of a series of six, created in collaboration with the two Czech glass masters Emil Kovac and Ales Vacek.
