Among the many must-see offerings at this year’s London Design Festival, 100% Norway is set to showcase world-class Scandinavian design.
Among the many must-see offerings at this year’s London Design Festival, 100% Norway is set to showcase world-class Scandinavian design at Old Truman Brewery. From 22–25 September, top design talent from creative epicenters Oslo, Bergen, and Trondheim will present contemporary works of furniture, ceramics, lighting, and textiles.
London design writer and consultant Max Fraser has curated this 13th edition of 100% Norway and is excited to “inject a new energy and outlook that breaks from any preconceptions of what Norwegian design is”. Thus, the exhibition reflects its broader mission to celebrate the traditions and heritage of Norway through the nation’s newest generation of designers. The 17 studios engage with this distinct legacy of modernity through form and material, as well as responses to or reinterpretations of iconic objects.
