From February 12-15, NOMAD design fair returns to St. Moritz for its ninth edition, transforming the recently renovated Villa Beaulieu—formerly Klinik Gut—into an intimate showcase for contemporary art, collectible design, and jewellery. The alpine destination has served as NOMAD’s flagship location since the fair’s inception in 2017.
Founded by Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, NOMAD has established itself as a boutique alternative to conventional art fairs. Since launching, the traveling showcase has staged acclaimed editions across glamorous destinations including Capri, Monaco, Venice, and a virtual edition in Cannes. Building on this momentum, NOMAD expanded globally with its first Abu Dhabi edition in November 2025 at the decommissioned Terminal 1 of Zayed International Airport, and will debut in the Hamptons at Robert Wilson’s Water Mill Center in June 2026.
Villa Beaulieu offers extraordinary panoramic views of the Engadin Valley and provides a more spacious yet remarkably intimate setting than previous venues. The transformation embodies NOMAD’s philosophy of creating dialogue between artworks and their architectural surroundings—a stark departure from the white-box convention of large-scale fairs.
This year’s edition features 25 exhibitors, blending established authorities with exciting newcomers. Milan’s Nilufar will showcase organic lighting and furniture pieces exploring our relationship with nature, while Brussels-based Pierre Marie Giraud presents unique limited editions spanning ceramics, wood, and glass from artists across Europe, Japan, and the United States. Newcomer Sorgin Gallery (San Sebastián) will juxtapose Brazilian modernist masters Joaquim Tenreiro and José Zanine Caldas with contemporary makers.
Historic treasures take centre stage as well. Robilant+Voena brings experimental works by Lucio Fontana and Pablo Picasso, while Galleria Antonio Verolino champions textile art with 1960s-70s tapestries by Victor Vasarely, Fernand Léger, and Alexander Calder.
Spazio Nobile Gallery participates in its fourth consecutive year at NOMAD with a selection of works by gallery artists including: Sébastien Caporusso, Pierre Charrié, Florence Coenraets, Marie Corbin, Éva Garcia, Kaspar Hamacher, Lisa Hellrup, Pao Hui Kao, Åsa Jungnelius, Luis Marie, Benoît Marie, Isaac Monté, Bela Silva, Piet Stockmans, Ann Beate Tempelhaug, Joost van Bleiswijk, Kiki van Eijk, Vera Vermeersch, Quentin Vuong, and Didi NG Wing Yin. Special projects include a curatorial collaboration with Armani, curated by Abby Bangser (former Artistic Director of Frieze Art Fairs), alongside presentations from jewellers Fernando Jorge, A2Z, and newcomer Nikos Koulis.
True to its exclusive format, access remains limited to NOMAD CIRCLE members, VIP guests, and invited participants, with a robust program featuring private home visits, architect-led tours, and conversations with designers. On February 13th between 11:30-13:00, Lise Coirier, Editor-in-Chief of TL Magazine and co-founder of Spazio Nobile Gallery, will be in conversation with Simon de Pury about collecting as instinct, vision and cultural legacy, and they will discuss the recently released print issue: TLmag41: The Art of Collecting, for which Simon de Pury served as guest editor.
As the collectible design market continues its dramatic growth, NOMAD St. Moritz reaffirms its position as the most discerning gathering of galleries, collectors, and creatives.
