This year’s Design Parade Hyères jury, led by designer Philippe Malouin, has picked a new crop of prize winners for this year’s edition.

There’s the Grand Prix winner, Portuguese designer Sara de Campos. Her family’s experience in winegrowing led to the creation of a series of polyethylene harvest crates that require reduced amounts of plastic to produce and provide greater comfort for grape pickers –yes, it’s a wine-wine situation.

For the Rest of Us, a series of material experiments by Alex Sizemore and Hank Beyer, was awarded the Jury’s Special Mention.

The Eyes on Talents x Frame Special Mention went to French designer Loïc Bard, whose sculpturally worked solid maple wood into a collection of benches, stools and chairs.

The Public Prize of the City of Hyères went to Camille Vialet and Théo Leclercq with their interrogation of shared materials.

In Toulon, the jury led by interior designer Pierre Yovanovitch awarded the Grand Prix to Kim Haddou and Florent Dufourcq, who presented an evolving reading room, along with Antoine Chauvin for The Corniche’s Secret –a hidden library.

The Eyes on Talents x Frame Special Mention went to Bérengère Botti and Sophie Genestoux for their En Trompe -L’oeil, while the Public Prize of the City of Toulon was awarded to Valentin Dubouis and Shizuka Saito.

The exhibitions will be open to the public until September 30
