Petits Volcans is a collaboration between the French-Icelandic design team IIIF Design Collective – composed by Agla Stefánsdóttir, Sigrún Halla Unnarsdóttir and Thibaut Allgayer – and the French glass blowing centre CIAV Meisenthal. This is a glass product collection of five objects – vases and containers – inspired by the fierce natural phenomenon that are volcanoes and their five different stages – The submarine volcano, The dormant volcano, The subglacial eruption, The lava eruption and The crater lake.

This collection was showcased in the gallery Mengi during the DesignMarch in Reykjavik from 12 to 15 March 2015.

All these products are designed by IIIF Design Collective and produced by CIAV Meisenthal. They were helped by some glass blowers Jean Marc Schilt, Sebastien Maurer and Valentin Fix.
