On the occasion of its sixth edition, BILY (Brussels I love You) will be delighted to welcome you on its journey into art & gastronomy. This year marks a turning point in the history of BILY, which will particularly honor women active in the world of contemporary art. During 8 days in the heart of Brussels, we will bring together multiple activities: visits to galleries, institutions, exhibition spaces, artist residences, collections and many others in the company of chefs for the opening day. Come (RE)discover the Belgian creative force and its inspirations, through the art and design scene & Brussels gastronomy.
Push the door of these known or unexpected places and let yourself be carried off the beaten track. For the less adventurous, let yourself be guided by our experts. This itinerary has been designed to enhance the image of our capital city while meeting both emerging and established artists.
The BILY itinerary will take place from March 27 to April 3, 2021 and is designed to help people (re)discover our capital through a certain mapping of contemporary art and in particular of the women artists.
Belgium is full of talented emerging and recognized artists put forward by passionate and motivated professionals who are waiting for you!

This group exhibition at Maison Louis Carré presents a refined combination of contemporary sculptural works by glass artist Laura Laine, tapestry artist and textile designer Kustaa Saksi and sculptor and ceramicist Kim Simonsson. While working with different materials, the artists have a common material approach, presenting works with a three-dimensional feel that perfectly fit with the characterizing organic, functionalist atmosphere of the Aalto-designed surroundings.
Curators: Lise Coirier, director of the Spazio Nobile Gallery, Brussels, and Kati Laakso, director of the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux.
In collaboration with the Finnish Embassy in France & Galerie NeC – Nilsson et Chiglien, Paris
