Dutch Invertuals
During this year’s Fuorisalone, celebrated exhibition collective Dutch Invertuals presents Body Language – demonstrating how this group of designer take-on the issue of integrated technology. The in-tactile world is gaining ground in the understanding of who we are. While physical objects lose function, forms are freed, orphaned and adopted. An impressive list of up-and-coming talents – all with ties to the Netherlands – Aliki van de Kruijs, Alissa + Nienke, Arnout Meijer, TLmag 22-featured duo Daphna Laurens, Edhv, Dienke Dekker, Germans Ermičs, Jetske Visser and Michiel Martens, Nina van Bart, Noman, Glass is Tomorrow book-featured Philipp Weber, Thomas Vailly and Laura Lynn Jansen, Tijmen Smeulders and Victoria Ledig will present new work that address how our bodies have becoming mere reflections of identity. And so, this exhibition – curated and initiated by Wendy Plomp – is an exploration that reflects, moves, shines and glows – crafting materials with character rather than function while flirting with new aesthetics.

“A Forest of Collision and Raku”, an installation curated by Spazio Nobile of new ceramics, functional sculpture and tapestries by Kiki van Eijk & Joost van Bleiswijk, will be presented at the 7th edition of Masterly during Milan Design Week, April 18-23, 2023.
