Established in the early 1970’s, Brianza-based Glas Italia produces modern furniture, door-partitions and accessories in crystal glass. The manufacturer continues to add internationally recognized names to its already impressive list of designers such as Naoto Fukasawa, Jasper Morrison, Patricia Urquiola and many more. During the Milan Design Week 15, from 14 to 19 April 2015, it was possible to take a look inside the Shimmer collection by Patricia Urquiola for Glas Italia. This collection is composed by low tables, consoles and shelves in laminated and glued glass, characterized by a special iridescent mutlichromatic finish. The particularity is that the nuance varies according to the angle of the light and the vantage point.
