Mounted as part of this week’s Dutch Design Week, Nacho Inside Out is a unique photo series capturing the inner-workings of one of Eindhoven’ most celebrated design emigres Nacho Carbonell, almost a decade after graduating for the equally famed Design Academy Eindhoven. With the designer as integral to the founding of the now thriving 180-creatives-strong Sectie C, this collection of images – shot by recognised documentary photographer Maarten Coolen – employs the viable backdrop in revealing a very craft-oriented process. Shadowing Carbonell for three months, the photographer tapped into spontaneous yet real moments.

Nacho Inside Out will be on view at Sectie-C: Daalakkersweg 2-8, Eindhoven till 25 October, from 12 – 19 daily.
