Atelier Polyhedre is a French creative studio and ceramic production. Their approach is at the borders of fine arts, decorative arts and design through an experimental and artisanal approach the material. These new pieces were especially made for an exhibition, Maisonner, in the french art center La Chapelle des Calvairiennes in Mayenne. The starting point was the materials used for the chapelle like earthenware, wood and steel. They also wanted to employ a pattern present in the place (hexagon) and to offer a range of it. Finally, they created a series of furnitures with an experimental approach like a stool, a book share, a screen wall… and also, for the first time, a wallpaper with the same state of mind. It gives a very interesting result in the field of ceramics because it retains its authenticity. The project was here a creation of objects but also the establishment of a complete environment.
