Opening 12 April (until 17 April), Noni will present the collections of some of the brightest young designers shaping Finnish design today at Ventura Lambrate 2016. The collections have a clear design aesthetic and are distinctive in their expressions of Finland’s strong craft tradition.

Finland is a country of stark contrasts that have a profound effect on the people living in it, surrounded as we are by a natural world that vacillates between harshness and sublime beauty. Contrasts such as light and dark, heat and cold, lack and abundance all affect our perception of the world and the things we create. Wherever we originally come from, living in such an environment has a profound effect on our perception and contributes to what could be considered a Finnish design aesthetic. Noni explores these themes from the personal perspectives of a group of young designers living in Finland.

Visit the Noni exhibition during 12-17 April 2016 (in Via Privata Oslavia 7) at Salone del Mobile, Ventura Lambrate, Milan 2016.
