Since 1998, the Regional School of Saint-Etienne Fine Arts organized the International Design Biennial Saint-Etienne, who would become the most eclectic events on design in France. Produced and managed by the City of design, with the support of its public and private partners, the biennial favor since the confrontation between the innovations generated by schools, large agencies, independent creators, broadcasters, corporations and a very wide variety of audiences. Their many exhibitions, conferences, symposia and meetings are a real laboratory of contemporary, providing through the design issues insights into the thoughts and issues of our time.
