La Cambre means the School of La Cambre, in Brussels, founded in 1926 under the name Higher Institute of Decorative Arts by Henry Van de Velde after his resignation from the Institute of decorative arts and industrial Weimar (Bauhaus). This school gives rise to artistic events throughout the year including art openings and exhibitions result of collaborations between students and artists during workshops.
