The Horta Museum invited five designers to decorate the walls of Horta’s house, using velvet. Their interventions will be on display from 13 September 2024 to 30 June 2025.

TLmag spoke with Gunia Nowik about the gallery’s 3rd anniversary and its recent move to a former palace, as well as the upcoming fall art season in Warsaw, including the 14th edition of the Warsaw Gallery Weekend.

Spazio Nobile presents work by Märta Thisner & Åsa Jungnelius, including a special book signing with the artists for the launch of their collaborative book, Mussels, on September 15th.

The Muzeum Susch presents Tapta: Flexible Forms, the first large-scale retrospective exhibition outside of Belgium of the Polish-born, Belgian based artist Maria Wierusz-Kowalska, known as Tapta.

Laura Laine, presents “Naure Morte”, a solo show of glass works at Suomen Lasimuseo, the Finnish Glass Museum. This is Laine’s largest exhibition to-date, featuring glass works made over the past decade, since she began working in this medium. The exhibition is on view through September 29th.

For the 2024 Milan Design Week, contemporary artist Naoki Kawano presented “Skins Concept” a new project specially designed in collaboration with Pierre Frey.

Lise Coirier spoke with Swedish glass artist Åsa Jungnelius ahead of her solo exhibition, Desire, Utensil, Container, at Spazio Nobile Gallery.

The Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum in Munich presents “Wearables”, an exhibition of work by Norwegian artist Sigurd Bronger. The exhibition opened during Munich Jewellery week in March and will be on view through June 2, 2024.

The Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris pays tribute to fashion designer Iris van Herpen with Sculpting the Senses, an extensive exhibition featuring over 100 haute couture pieces. The exhibition is on view now through April 28, 2024.

The 2024 edition of Heimtextil opens on January 9, 2024 with an increased focus on sustainability and a 24/25 trends focus on “New Sensitivity”.
