The 29th edition of miart, Milan’s modern & contemporary art fair organized by Fiera Milano, returns this year with 179 galleries and a series of special exhibitions and events onsite and across the city. miart takes places between April 4th-6th.

Alain Servais is one of contemporary art’s leading collector’s, with an extensive collection that includes established and emerging artists. Servais spoke to TLmag about the vision for his collection and what he is looking forward to seeing at this year’s miart fair, the international modern and contemporary art fair organized by Fiera Milano, that will take place next April in Milan.

TLmag spoke to Antwerp-based collector Luc Haenen about his collection, which he has been building for nearly 25-years, and what he is looking forward to seeing this April at the 2025 edition of miart, the international modern and contemporary art fair of Milan.

For the 2024 Milan Design Week, contemporary artist Naoki Kawano presented “Skins Concept” a new project specially designed in collaboration with Pierre Frey.

Heritage(s) Surrealiste(s) was an exhibition curated by Jean-François Declercq for Milan Design Week and presented at the Baranzate Ateliers as part of the Fuorisalone.

For the 2024 edition of Milan Design Week, Roca showcases their company-wide initiatives for decarbonation and circularity with an installation titled “Sparking Change”, designed by Mario Cucinella Architects.

From April 15 to September 15, 2024, the Triennale Milano is presenting the exhibition: Inga Sempé: La casa imperfetta. Curated by Marco Sammicheli, Director of the Museo del Design of the Triennale Milano, the exhibition opens to coincide with the museum’s programming for Milan Design Week 2024.

Pieter Vermeersch presents a monumental site-specific installation at Antonini Milano, in collaboration with Galleria P240 of Bologna through January 12, 2024.

OMG-GMO is a new collection of hand painted ceramic fruit by Paris-based designer Robert Stadler in collaboration with Italian ceramic company Bitossi. The work was featured at Carwan Gallery in Milan during Milan Design Week.

Masterly – The Dutch in Milano, curated by Nicole Uniquole, and housed in the stunning Palazzo dei Giureconsulti, will feature new objects, installations and collaborations by over 80 Dutch creatives. The exhibition will be on view from April 18-23, in connection with the Salone de Mobile in Milan.
